Little Apple Market has the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating grocery store in the world. The store was built in 1933, then it was named Giant Food Fair. The store has changed owners and names a few times over the years. In 1979, co-owners Tom Gottschall and Tom Wolford purchased the store and it became Little Apple Market IGA.

Little Apple Market is conveniently located near the main thoroughfare into New York City on the main drag into Allentown. The owners firmly believe in providing their customers with excellent service and high quality products. A wide variety of products are carried to better serve the customers. The store features bakery, deli, fresh foods, and a wide variety of meats. Meat items like Bacala and salted pigs feet are just two specialty items that are popular with the customers.

In this time of mega superstore grocery chains, Little Apple Market prides itself as being a local grocery store that knows what their customers want. Little Apple Market strives everyday to give their customers excellent service, with attention to the little things that the large, impersonal mega-stores are unable to do. But don’t take our word for it, stop by and let us prove it to you.
